Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 July 2026
Naqliati is an on-demand service platform operating in Iraq. This policy explains exactly what the app collects, why, who it is shared with, and how to delete it. It covers both roles in the app: customers, and captains (the people who perform the order).
What we collect
- Phone number — your identity in Naqliati. You sign in with it using a one-time code; there is no password.
- Name — shown to the captain assigned to your order.
- Your cars — model/name, colour, body type, and an optional photo you choose to add so the captain can recognise the car.
- Precise location — the location you set for an order. For captains, live location while you are online, so nearby jobs can be offered to you.
- Saved addresses — any places you save (home, work, other) with their coordinates and the address text you write.
- Order history — what was ordered, when, the price, the payment method, the status, and any note you write for the captain.
- Ratings and reviews — the star rating and any written comment you leave about a captain.
- Captain application details — if you apply to be a captain: your full name and, optionally, a link to an identity document you provide.
- Device notification token — so we can tell you when a captain accepts, is on the way, or has finished.
- Technical logs — our web server records IP address, time and request path for security and troubleshooting.
What we do not collect
- No payment card details. The app never asks for a card, and no card data reaches our servers. Orders are paid in cash to the captain, or covered by a subscription.
- No advertising identifiers and no ad SDKs. We do not run ads and do not collect an advertising ID.
- No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
- No access to your contacts, microphone, photo library beyond the single image you choose to attach, or health data.
How location is used
Customers: location is used to place the pin for your order. You can set the pin manually instead of granting location access. We do not track customers in the background.
Captains: while you are online, the app sends your position so that orders near you can be offered to you — this is how dispatch works. Your position is shown to a customer only for an order you have accepted, and only until that order finishes. Going offline stops it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. Data is shared only where it is needed to operate the service:
- The other party of your order. Once a captain accepts your order, the captain sees your name, phone number and pickup location, and you see the captain's name and phone number, so you can contact each other. Nothing is shared while an order is still searching for a captain.
- Our login-code provider (Arqam). Your phone number is sent to them solely to deliver your one-time sign-in code over WhatsApp.
- Notification services. Push notifications are delivered through Expo's push service and then Apple's or Google's notification services. These carry your device token and the text of the notification.
- OpenStreetMap. Maps in the app load tiles from OpenStreetMap's servers, which necessarily reveals the map area being viewed to them.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose data where we are legally required to.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app: Profile & Settings → Delete account (captains: Profile → Delete account).
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Your name, phone number, cars and car photos, saved addresses and all active sessions are erased. Your phone number is released, so if you sign up again on the same number you get a brand-new, empty account — none of your old data comes back with it.
Completed orders are kept as anonymous financial records — amount, date and the captain's payout — with every identifying field removed, because the business is required to retain its transaction records. There is nothing in them that ties back to you.
See naqliati.senmmar.com/delete-account for the full description.
How long we keep data
Account data is kept while your account exists, and erased when you delete it, as described above. One-time sign-in codes expire within minutes. Web server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.
Security
All traffic between the app and our servers uses HTTPS. Sign-in tokens are stored in the device's secure keychain. One-time codes are stored hashed, never in readable form.
Children
Naqliati is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top.
